Alejandra Arriaga has been hired this month (June 2019) as a staff engineer for the City of Lakeland.
Ms. Arriaga is from Memphis and graduated last year from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
Her tasks in Lakeland include the stormwater management program as well as assistance to the recycling program and to Emily Harrell, Lakeland city engineer.
She enjoys reading, taking photographs and traveling.
