If you missed the special Saturday program, the City offers another option with the bulk waste pickup service year-round which is mostly free to Lakeland citizens.
For bulk pick-up, please call City Hall, 867-2217 or Mrs. Fink, 867-5409.
The first 10 cubic yards are free, $5 per cubic yard over 10, said Mrs. Fink. Appliances are $25 each. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners must be decommissioned by a certified representative. “We have other sources that will pick-up appliances containing refrigerant. Call City hall or Mrs. Fink for the phone numbers.
“We do not pick-up bags. Republic is contracted to take unlimited bags,” she said.
