City of Lakeland City Attorney Chris Patterson submitted his letter of resignation with the City of Lakeland this morning (1.15.19), effective immediately, according to Shane Horn, Lakeland city manager.
“Chris has served the City of Lakeland as the City Attorney since 2013,” said Mr. Horn.
“Chris has faithfully served the City in his role as City Attorney and has been a great support to me in my transition, as well as to Department Heads and Board of Commissioners,” said Mr. Horn. “We certainly wish the best for Chris and appreciate his outstanding work on behalf of the City.”
The Board of Commissioners will discuss next steps at a previously scheduled special called meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (1.17.19), Mr. Horn added.
