Within the next two weeks, the Lakeland community will be treated to holiday music from the LMPS Choir, Band and Orchestra in three separate programs.
The musical groups at Lakeland Middle Preparatory School (LMPS) invite the community to these concerts Dec. 4th, 11th and 13th.
Winter Choir Concert – Tuesday (12.4.18)
A Winter Music Celebration – “Season’s Greetings” at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2949 Davies Plantation Rd. in Lakeland. 6:30 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested.
Tonya Miller, choir director, said the Mane Melody Singers will open the program with an audience-participation song called “Reindeer Twist.” Then the sixth grade choir members, almost 50 in the group, will perform. The Concert Choir will close the evening with a joyful version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” said Mrs. Miller.
Winter Band Concert – Dec. 11th
“Jingle All the Way” at 6:30 p.m. in the LMPS Cafetorium, $5 donation suggested.

Winter Orchestra Concert – Dec. 13th
“Merry & Bright” – A Winter Music Festival in the LMPS Cafetorium at 6:30 p.m. with a $5 suggested donation.
