Come to the Lakeland Christmas Festival from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Dec. 7 for Santa visits, crafts and hand-delivered Christmas wish lists.
The annual family event will be at IH Clubhouse, 4523 Canada Road with Santa arriving around 6:20 p.m. to light the outdoor Christmas tree. Then he will go inside the Clubhouse to meet the girls and boys of Lakeland and hear their Christmas wishes.
While at the Festival, children can make crafts, have their face painted or visit Mike the Balloon Man. Children will have the opportunity to make a Christmas Wish List to hand deliver to Santa, according to Kim Odom, special events coordinator for the City of Lakeland.
“Come join us as we celebrate Christmas time in the City of Lakeland. Parents, grandparents, and friends of the family are invited to share the joy of the holiday season,” said Mrs. Odom.
Parking will be available at First Baptist Church of Lakeland across from IHC and in the gravel parking lot adjacent to the Clubhouse. Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies will direct traffic.
The event is sponsored by Starbuck’s and Papa Murphy’s Pizza. See flyer below.
