Chamber Luncheon Strengthens Business Connections

The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed business leaders, entrepreneurs, community partners, and residents to another well-attended monthly luncheon last week at the Lakeland Golf Club, continuing its mission of fostering professional connections and supporting local economic growth.

Featured speaker Ron Brooks of River City Capital shared insights on business growth, investment strategies, and the current economic outlook. During his presentation, Brooks discussed opportunities available in today’s marketplace and highlighted how River City Capital helps entrepreneurs and individuals who have not yet established credit gain access to funding while building a strong financial foundation for future business success.

The luncheon was sponsored by Fireworks City, while the City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation hosted the Spotlight Table, providing attendees with information about upcoming programs, special events, and recreational opportunities available throughout the community. Guests also enjoyed a catered lunch from Moe’s Southwest Grill before the featured presentation.

Entertainment for the event was sponsored by the Lakeland Arts Council, which featured a live performance by local musicians Jeff Hulett and Ben Church. Their music provided an inviting atmosphere as attendees networked and enjoyed the afternoon’s program.

The Chamber’s monthly luncheons continue to serve as an important forum for building relationships within the business community, encouraging collaboration, and highlighting the organizations and individuals contributing to Lakeland’s continued growth and success.

The next Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, at the Lakeland Golf Club. Chamber members, local business professionals, and prospective members are encouraged to attend.
