Could orange cones on Beverle Rivera Drive be just a memory soon?
Emily Harrell, PE CPESC, city engineer, said yesterday (6.7.18) the contractor will be completing work on Beverle Rivera Drive for the next two weeks.
“Work will include patching existing Beverle Rivera, placement of new asphalt surface from Skyway Drive to Seed Tick Road and striping. During work, expect intermittent lane closures.
Skyway Drive is the connector road to Huff N Puff.
Asked if the orange construction cones which have dotted that street for months might be gone by the end of June. Mrs. Harrell said she hopes all will be completed this month.
Beverle Rivera Drive became the route from Canada Road past Seed Tick Road in August 2017, with Huff N Puff closed to through traffic. However, work continued in the area with orange cones and construction equipment alongside the road.
