Painted Paper Collage/Mixed Media Art Workshop
1-3 p.m. Jan. 12 – Presented by artist Jeanie Box with Bartlett Art Association. Jeanie will show participants how to create our own landscape art using paper and other unique items. All materials will be supplied. MUST RSVP.
Don’t Be Scammed! Fraud/Scam Seminar
1 p.m. Jan. 17 – Be prepared to ward off scams and fraud. Hear about the newest scam and fraud schemes presented by Thomas A. Smith, fraud manager for State of Tennessee Dept. of Commerce and Insurance.
Watercolor with Becky
10 a.m. – noon Jan. 25 and Jan. 26 – Get hands-on lessons from local artist and art teacher Becky Deaux. She is a Lakeland resident and a member of the Bartlett Art Association. We are honored that she will share her expertise with us. Must RSVP.
Chili Cook-Off (just for fun!)
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 30 – Cook up a Crock-Pot full of your secret chili recipe and share it with friendly judges at the Chili-Off, honoring National Chili Month. First, second and third place winners will be named and each receive a trophy. After the judged contest, cook-off participants will sit down and enjoy a bowl of chili among friends. To compete, contact Kim Odom (901) 746-8195. To eat but not compete, there will be a fee of $2.

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 6 – Come learn the unique art of Acrylic Pouring by Louis Pruitt. Must RSVP to make sure we purchase enough supplies.
