On January 24th, the Lakeland Chamber will host its highly anticipated Annual Awards Luncheon, marking the pinnacle of Lakeland Chamber meetings. The event, to be held at Lakeland Golf Club from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM, promises a celebration of community achievements and recognition.
This year’s guest speaker is Shelby County Commissioner Mick Wright, a dedicated supporter of Lakeland. The luncheon will catered by Pink Flamingo, with McDonald’s as the sponsor while the Lakeland Education Foundation taking the spotlight at a dedicated table.
As tradition dictates, the Annual Awards Luncheon will recognize outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations for their remarkable achievements throughout 2023. Attendees can expect a fun atmosphere filled with appreciation for the contributions that have positively impacted the Lakeland community.
The Lakeland Prep String Quartet also plans to be on hand to serenade guests before the luncheon and perform a piece at the event’s commencement. Additionally, a significant moment will occur with a check presentation to LSS Boosters, courtesy of the proceeds from the 2023 Lakeland Chamber golf tournament.
