Earl Farrell, public information officer for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, explained what happened at the Lakeland Motel 6 tonight.
“We had an overdose at Motel 6 in Lakeland. The victim survived but we are continuing to investigate drug trafficking at several motels in the area.”
