The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash Saturday (5.18.19) on Canada Road near U.S. Highway 70 in Lakeland, according to Lt. Anthony Buckner, spokesman for the SCSO.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. when a Silverado pickup truck struck a tree. Tyler Eavenson, 26, of Oakland was pronounced deceased on the scene. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of this crash.
