Lakeland Chamber Luncheon Brings Business Leaders Together for Regional Economic Update

Business leaders, entrepreneurs and community members gathered for the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce’s July luncheon, continuing the organization’s tradition of fostering connections and keeping members informed about developments impacting the local and regional business community.

Sponsored by the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South, the monthly event provided attendees with opportunities to network while learning more about the economic forces shaping the Memphis region.

The featured speaker was Omer Yusuf of the Memphis Business Journal, who shared insights into the area’s business climate, current economic trends and the opportunities driving growth across the Mid-South. His presentation offered attendees a broader perspective on the region’s evolving economy and the factors influencing local businesses. Chamber leaders say speakers like Mr. Yusuf offer valuable insight to those that attend the meetings.

In addition to the featured presentation, attendees had the opportunity to visit the Spotlight Table hosted by BrownDog Lodge Veterinary. Representatives from the business highlighted the veterinary services they provide and discussed their commitment to serving pet owners throughout the community.

Lunch was catered by Ain’t It The Life Catering, which received positive feedback from those in attendance.

The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheons continue to provide a forum for business professionals to build relationships, exchange ideas and stay informed about the organizations, businesses and initiatives contributing to Lakeland’s continued growth.
