The City of Lakeland will host it’s Easter Hop and Shop, a free community event, set to take place this Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at Lakeland International Harvester Park and is open to the public, welcoming families and visitors from across the Mid-South.
Attendees can expect an afternoon of seasonal festivities, including local vendors, food trucks, live music, and a variety of children’s activities. Highlights of the event include opportunities for photos with the Easter Bunny and organized egg hunts along the park’s trails. Egg hunts will be divided by age group, with times scheduled for children ages 0 to 5 at 2:30 p.m., ages 6 to 8 at 3:00 p.m., and ages 9 to 11 at 3:30 p.m.
City officials encourage residents to bring their families and enjoy a festive spring outing in one of Lakeland’s premier outdoor spaces.
