The Lakeland School System (LSS) community feeding program has been suspended, according to Dr. Ted Horrell, LSS superintendent in a statement today (3.21.20).
Dr. Horrell said the decision was tough but as information and guidance changes, LSS is trying to stay on top of making good decisions.
The free meal distribution program for children under 18 was to start next week while school was closed for COVID-19.
