“Superheroes” at the 11th Annual Lakeland Elementary School (LES) PTA Auction last week raised over $26,000 to fund projects at Lakeland Elementary School.

The theme of the evening (3.22.19) including food, music and auction items at Woodland Hills Event Center was Superheroes, according to Tiffany Maclin, PTA president.

Monica Pitts, chair of the event, said $26,891 was raised Friday night with 300 in attendance. “It was a huge success just like in past years,” said Mrs. Pitts.  “We have some SUPER parents and students at LES.”

Mrs. Maclin explained the goal of the fundraiser.  “This year the PTA has been raising money for future technology expenses for the new wing that should be ready for the new school year.  We wanted to make sure that each classroom is equipped with the best and that each classroom is consistent across the board with what the class offers the students as far as resources.”
