Hundreds came for the LES Holiday Market today at IH Clubhouse

Lakeland Swag Shop at PTA Holiday Market today

They came for the holiday shopping. They came for the Lakeland spirit wear. And they came for the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck during the LES (Lakeland Elementary School) PTA Holiday Market this afternoon (11.17.19) at the IH Clubhouse.

Hundreds filled nearby parking lots and stood in line to get all things lobster at the food truck and enter the Clubhouse for handmade items from Lakeland businesses and business owners.

Rebecca Cower, co-chair of the PTA event, said the lobster food truck was in Lakeland for the first time.  Among the other 30 vendors were JLo Pottery, Beautycounter by Kembree, Anna Stonestreet Photography, Nautilus Pottery, Cannon Chiropractic, Cross your Heart Designs and Nautilus Pottery.  The Lakeland Swag Shop offered tees, hats, ornaments and jewelry.

Frost Bake Shop, located in Memphis and Collierville, had a table and offered free mini-cupcakes to attendees.  Owners Bill and Kristi Kloss are renting a home in Lakeland until their new house in the City is completed.

Monies raised from the event will purchase risers in the LES gym and shade structures for the school playgrounds, said Kembree Darakshani, co-chair of the event.
