For the upcoming Christmas holiday, City Hall and the Lakeland Senior Center at IH Park will be closed Dec 23rd, Dec 24th, Dec 30th and Dec 31st.
According to city officials trash service will run their normal schedules, both this week and next. The city will also be picking up used Christmas trees on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Residents simply need to place the tree next to the curb for pickup.
Lakeland School System classes will resume for students and teachers on Monday, January 3, 2022.
