In an effort to attract more visitors to an otherwise lacking park, Lakeland resident and Parks and Rec Advisory Member Mr. Andre Nolan recently made some improvements of his own.
The Plantation Hills Park, located in the Plantation Hills subdivision at the end of Bluebird Hill Cove, is a three-acre park with little to no amenities. Nolan, who lives in said subdivision, wanted to give a little incentive for residents to visit the park.
He fashioned life sized game boards of checkers and tic-tac-toe for all ages to enjoy. Thank you, Mr. Nolan for your investment in our fine city!
