Book Club
First Wednesday (July 5) of the month, 1-2:30 p.m. Featured book: “The Ladies of Covington Send Their Love” by Joan Medlicott (Colleen).

Game Day
Fridays: July 7, 28, Aug. 4 –  12:30-2 p.m. Bring a friend and play a friendly game of chess, Uno, Monopoly, Trivia, or challenge yourself to a puzzle.

Movie Matinee
July 11 – 11 a.m. “Finding Dory” by Ellen Degeneres. Bring a friend and we’ll pop up some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Balance and Fall Prevention
July 13 – noon-1 p.m.  Learn how to improve balance and protect yourself from falls. Presented by Arlington Physical Therapy, LLC.

Rec Room Picnic and Billiards
July 14 – noon – 2 p.m.  Join us for lunch (grilled hotdogs and fixings by staff) in the Rec Room at IH Clubhouse featuring jukebox music and billiards. Bring an appetite and your own cue stick if you like and take your best shot on the pool table or try your hand at shuffleboard – all while listening to some jukebox music and mingling with friends. MUST RSVP.

Alzheimer’s Workshop
July 18 – 11:30 a.m. Presented by Laura Pate with Alzheimer’s Association: Part III of “Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures,” series. Lunch served. RSVP.

Free Bingo
July 21 – 12:30-2 p.m.  Bring a friend or two and come play! There are plenty of fun prizes. Sponsored by Pop-A-Lock.

The Lakeland Senior Center is a gathering place for friends. For more information about these activities, contact Kim Odom at 746-8195. The Center is closed July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.
